This Privacy Policy describes how the DH FleetView mobile application ("the App") collects, uses and protects information. The App is provided by DH Group ("we", "us") and is used in connection with your organisation's fleet tracking platform, operated by or on behalf of your employer/operator ("the Service").

1. Information We Collect

The App is a client for the Service you are authorised to use. It collects and processes the following categories of information:

• Location data – precise and approximate device location, including when the App runs in the background, for the purpose of vehicle/fleet tracking.
• Account information – the server address, username and password you enter to connect to your organisation's tracking server.
• Device information – basic device identifiers and app configuration required to deliver notifications and maintain your session.

2. How We Use Information

• To report your position, speed and status to the tracking server configured by your organisation.
• To authenticate you and keep your session secure.
• To deliver status alerts and notifications related to the Service.

Location and account data are transmitted only to the server address you (or your organisation) configure in the App – typically dhfleetview.co.uk – and are stored on that server. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties. Data is available only to you and to the authorised users of your organisation's tracking server, as managed by that organisation.

4. Security

All communication between the App and the tracking server is encrypted in transit using TLS (HTTPS). Account credentials are stored securely on your device.

5. Permissions

The App requests the following permissions, which may be declined at any time (though declining may limit core functionality):

• Location (foreground and background) – required for fleet tracking.
• Notifications – used for alerts configured by your organisation.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Location history is retained on your organisation's tracking server according to that organisation's own policies. To request access to, correction or deletion of your data, contact your organisation's fleet administrator or email admin@dhfleetview.co.uk.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is a business tool and is not intended for use by children under the age of 16.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
